Graphene
Graphene is a revolutionary material in the form of an ultra-thin, almost transparent carbon layer. In its most extreme form, it is only a single atomic layer thin (1 billionth of a meter). Vittoria uses “Directa Plus” graphene called G+, which is two to eight atoms thin.

The advantages of graphene:

• Huge surface area: 1 gram = about 2,630 m2, which is available for all kinds of chemical processes
• High mechanical strength: about 200 times stronger than steel
• High thermal conductivity: more than twice that of diamonds
• Low density: equal to or half as dense as aluminum
• High elasticity: six times that of steel
• High electrical conductivity, transparency, lightness, conformability and mechanical strength

Vittoria uses only the highest quality form of graphene (pure form) to achieve the greatest possible improvements for all our products. The pure graphene that Vittoria uses offers four to six times increases in the materials to which it is applied (carbon for wheels, rubber for tires) over other forms of graphene.
