ROCKSHOX Damper Deluxe Nude RLC3 Debon Air | Scott Spark 120mm 2017+

The RockShox Deluxe Nude damper was developed in collaboration with the Scott development team specifically for the requirements of the best riders in the World Cup. In connection with the Scott Twinlock lever there are three different adjustments of your damping and the air spring.

Descend
Scott’s proprietary nude damper has two positive air chambers. In descend mode, both chambers are open and thus form a larger chamber volume. This means that the entire suspension travel is available to you on the rear wheel. Both the fork and the damper are 100% optimized for downhill performance, taking into account the air spring and damping.
Thanks to the TwinLoc suspension system, Scott can develop bikes that make absolutely no compromises when it comes to downhill performance.

Traction control
When you switch from fully open Descend mode to Traction Control mode, an air chamber is closed and the effective travel of the damper is reduced. Two changes are necessary for this: an increase in the damping and an increase in the progressivity of the spring characteristic. One change without the other results in a drastic decrease in performance.

Lockout
In lockout mode, the hardest of the three suspension settings, the suspension travel is blocked – ideal when total efficiency is required. Whether on gravel climbs or on the way to the trail entrance, the front and rear lockout ensure that you save all the energy for the descent.

Counter Measure
Thanks to the Counter Measure technology, the breakaway torque of your damper is reduced to a minimum. Small strokes become buttery smooth stretches and you always have perfect grip.

DebonAir
It’s ok to be soft. The DebonAir technology has an extremely low breakaway torque in order to work as sensitively as possible right from the start. The first third of the spring travel is designed to be particularly soft in order to be able to use the rest as linearly as possible and to swallow small bumps perfectly even in the middle spring travel range. A late onset of end progression reliably prevents breakdowns. All of this together creates more traction and perfect control.

SAG Gradients
If you don’t adjust your suspension correctly, you might as well be on someone else’s bike. At RockShox, the markings for the exact setting of your suspension components are printed directly on them, saving you a lot of time when setting up.
