Our 29″ XC wheel set has been designed to meet and surpass the needs of an XC rider, or trail rider who favours a 24 mm internal rim width with tubeless ready, hookless rim profile for a no burb tyre and easy inflation. No matter your budget, wheels are the most important upgrade to your bike. All this while built into asymmetrical rim profiles ensures a stronger and better riding wheel, through even spoke tension.

Spokes

Double butted Pillar spokes are used throughout our XC wheel sets and offer exceptional spoke tension, ensuring your wheels are stiff.

Nipples

Nipples are 16 mm brass and come with a square head, so you can achieve precise tensioning.

Bearings

EZO bearings are some of the most sought-after in the cycling industry, with high-grade precision sealed cartridge topped off with low friction seals that are fitted to all Concept Speed wheels.

Hub & Freebody

At 252 grams (rear) and 83 grams (front), our hubs are pieces of engineering and use a 15 mm 7075 aluminium axle to maximise wheel stiffness. A 102 tooth ratchet ring with 6 multi-point pawls results in an impressively low 3.5 degree engagement. The individual pawl systems allow for quicker engagement.
