Key Features

Tyres

Designed with a wide 19 mm internal rim width, and suitable for use with 23 mm tyres, but ideal for 25, 28 mm and wider tubeless tyres. Also works extremely well with clincher tyres and tubes.

Spokes

We chose the top-of-the-range Pillar aero spokes, WING20. The WING receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke, and offers unique strength and flexibility.

Nipples

Nipples are 16 mm brass and come with a square head, so you can achieve precise tensioning.

Bearings

EZO bearings are some of the most sought-after in the cycling industry, with high-grade precision sealed cartridge topped off with low friction seals that are fitted to all Concept Speed wheels.

Hub & Freebody

At 252 grams (rear) and 83 grams (front), our hubs are pieces of engineering and use a 15 mm 7075 aluminium axle to maximise wheel stiffness. A 30 tooth ratchet ring with 6 multi-point pawls with 2-teeth each, results in an impressively low 12 degree engagement. The individual pawl systems allow for quicker engagement.
