This specific kit is designed for servicing SRAM’s mineral oil-based hydraulic disc brakes.
This “V2” edition of the bleed kit is the standard version (not the “Pro” version with metal syringe plungers) and typically does not include mineral oil. It is primarily compatible with:
- SRAM DB4, DB6 and DB8.
- SRAM Maven.
- SRAM Motive.
Kit Contents
- 2 Standard Syringes: Used for pushing and pulling fluid through the system.
- M4 Fittings: Specialized connectors for the brake lever and caliper.
- Bleeding Edge Fitting: A proprietary tool for “drip-free” bleeding on compatible calipers.
- Bleed Blocks: Specific blocks for Maven and DB8 to maintain correct piston spacing.
- Additional Tools: Includes a Torx tool and a crowfoot adapter for torqueing fittings.
