Shimano understands that women’s feet are anatomically different than men’s in several fundamental ways. In order to enhance comfort and performance for women, the lasts are engineered to fit them properly.
Shimano’s women-specific off-road sport shoe, formed on a special women’s last for a more natural and comfortable fit. The upper consists of stretch-resistant fine and flexible mesh with synthetic leather. The super low-profile micro-adjust buckle and the Cross X-Strap ensure precise fit management. The SH-WM64 is a snug, durable, breathable shoe which transfers power to the pedal and comfort to the rider.
Furthermore the SH-WM64 features a “TORBAL” Torsional midsole, which allows natural rider “flow” motion during downhill and a class fiber composite nylon midsole for power transfer. The aggressive light weight rubber outsole offers traction in any conditions.
Shimano recommends the use of PD-M530 or PD-M520 pedals.
