Maxxis Dissector 29×2.40″ WT EXO+ TR 3C MaxxTerra 120 Folding Tyre
Troy Brosnan wanted to create a unicorn of tires. A tyre that rolls madly fast, mills precisely through curves and decelerates accordingly well if necessary. The tread pattern of Rekon, Minion DHF and HighRoller II was used as the basis for this and was designed in close cooperation with Troy during the 2018 World Cup season.

3C Maxx Terra
An intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. 3C MaxxTerra is softer and offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
The EXO+ construction combines two of the best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. The SilkShield layer runs from bead-to-bead with a layer of EXO along the sidewalls. Combined, these two materials create EXO+ which improves tread puncture protection by 27%; sidewall durability by 51%; and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no hose, also decreases the risk of punctures. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for the assembly with sealing milk than others “Tubeless Ready” tires. The bulge of our TR tire is completely covered like a real UST tubeless tires with a rubber layer.
Wide Trail Casing
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread layout and tyre shape on today’s wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance.
WT tyres are optimised for an inner rim width of 35 mm, but function perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40 mm.
