The popular 32 Step Cast receives an updated design, with a 20% increase in stiffness to provide strength and stability for the demands XC riders are putting on their forks. The redesigned crown increases stiffness to the same level as the Trail-proven 34. In addition, the new design provides a more integrated look for modern head tube design, to further improve on Fox lightweight XC offering.
Featuring a weight of just only 1490Â grams, this 32 Step-Cast (SC) Remote is one of the lightest cross country forks which has ever been build by Fox Factory. Optimized for 100Â mm of travel, the 10Â mm narrower (compared to the typical 32 design) Step-Cast lower leg design and narrow crown spacing save weight while the 32Â mm upper tubes maintain FOX ride quality. Version with 44Â mm offset.
32 SC Chassis-Design
The distinct shape of the lower leg design isn’t just for looks. The 32 Step-Cast (SC) chassis uses a narrow stance to save weight and the step design makes room for the spokes and brake rotor. The 32 SC features 32Â mm upper tubes and ample bushing overlap for a quality ride and the hollowed out lower legs provide even more weight savings.
FIT4 Remote
The patented FIT4 (Fox Isolated Technology) closed cartridge system with comfortable handlebar remote control provides two on-the-fly compression damping positions. Use the OPEN mode during rough descending and the FIRM mode for smooth climbing. The Factory Series forks feature an additional 22 clicks of low-speed compression adjust in the Open mode, allowing riders to fine-tune their exact damping preferences.
The FIT4 cartridge damper was redesigned based on the award-winning HSC/LSC damper, resulting in a much higher performing damper across all forks. The FIT4 damper has an tune that provides more sensitivity while maintaining support.
FLOAT
The FLOAT air spring system is light and reduces the force to initiate travel, providing excellent sensitivity and small bump compliance for all riders and pressure settings. It features positive and negative air springs that automatically equalize during use to give each rider the right pressure balance.
EVOL
A more linear spring curve gives EVOL forks and shocks plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression, allowing riders to tap into the ideal pairing of front and rear-end feel. The EVOL technology from rear shocks is now integrated into all FOX forks. EVOL increases negative air spring volume, specifically positioned and sized for optimum small bump sensitivity.
AIR VOLUME SPACERS
The progressiveness of the FLOAT air spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
KABOLT
The development of this super light, bolted thru axle has been inspired by Geoff Kabush through the Fox RAD program. Assembly is done with just a simple 6Â mm hex key.
Two Position Remote
Designed for an easy integration on the handlebar, the high-quality sealed Two Position Remote ensures to switch between the Open and Firm modes while riding. Each mode is optimized for a specific type of terrain, providing best performance and riding enjoyment.
