Premium gravel bib shorts: Mille GTC Kiespanzer C2 Bib Shorts von ASSOS
Gravel, touring, and bikepacking require more robust equipment. Frame, wheels, tires, clothing – none of a rider’s gear is exempt, so the KIESPANZER (or “Gravel Tank”) provides the requisite durability for the inevitable abuse of cycling beyond the tarmac. It’s also equipped with storage solutions for day-trip supplies or to supplement pack space and keep ride essentials readily accessible in pockets of high-stretch, extremely breathable 3-Mesh panels. Reflective stripes help ensure visibility on early departures, late returns, or those long dusks while pushing through the final miles to the next hotel or campsite.
Type.429 wraps with a lightly compressive hold for a streamlined, breathable fit. When the gravel “road” becomes little more than a path and trail-side brush closes in, side panels of Bunny Hop add a barrier against abrasion that still stretches and compresses like a road specific textile courtesy of ASSOS’ woven, 50/50 polyamide and elastane blend.
C2 AEPD regularFit is based on ASSOS’ performance race models with a less aggressive, streamlined design and our standard leg length. Tuned for comfort in the saddle and mobility off the bike.
Gravel, touring, and even light trail duty – The ASSOS GTC Gravel Tank C2 comes into play anytime you’re venturing beyond the tarmac or heading out on a multiday tour and are ideally complemented with the ASSOS Mille GTC C2 Jersey.

Technologies
regularFit
A body mapped performance fit that is a little less aggressive than ASSOS’ racingFit. The best of both worlds, wearability and speed converging. A balance between the more compressive racingFit and the looser comfortFit.
ALS (ASSOS Layering System)
Less is more. The entire ASSOS collection is conceptualized around this technology. ASSOS apparel is engineered with minimum volume, taking advantage of the body’s natural heating/cooling capacities by insulating intelligently through pro-active layering. Both fabrics and garments have chain functions and are cut to complement each other. Everything fits like a puzzle; technically as well as aesthetically. It is up to each cyclist to follow the climate range guidelines and to experiment with the different ASSOS garments in order to find the perfect personal outfit for each specific riding season.
AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design)
Stand for the company’s know-how, experience and philosophy on how a garment should be tailored to function in the cyclist’s position. ASSOS garments are designed to perfectly fit and adhere to the body, in other words, to respect the anatomy of the cycling body. High-tech fabrics are pointless if cut “wrong”!
